The Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council (ODDC) is a planning and advocacy body committed to community inclusion for people with developmental disabilities. ODDC is funded under the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, Public Law 106-402. ODDC is a partner within the Ohio DD Network.

Council's Weekly Public Policy Update: Read this week's policy update, covering topics in Ohio - such as the DD Awareness & Advocacy Day and the release of ODDC's waiting list study, plus news from Washington about the Adminstration's Federal Fiscal Year Budget outline. ODDC wants to hear from you! We are developing our next Five Year State Plan. Please take a few minutes to complete a short survey to help us create a plan that reflects what Council should focus on to fund projects that will better meet the needs of Ohioans with disabilities. Take the survey online - and please share with others!

ODDC releases new report on status of waiting lists: On March 4, 2014, ODDC released a report on the continuing issue of waiver waiting lists. The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center conducted research and analyzed the results for the report, funded by ODDC. Download and read the report: What Are We Waiting For?
