The Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council (ODDC) is a planning and advocacy body committed to community inclusion for people with developmental disabilities. ODDC is funded under the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, Public Law 106-402. ODDC is a partner within the Ohio DD Network.

DD Council meeting agenda: The Ohio DD Council meets on Thursday, December 11 and Friday December 12. The meeting will be held at Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark. Both days will focus on strategic planning. Download the meeting agenda (PDF file)

Articles include information about Ohio's Ebola Preparedness plan, bridging the employment gap for students with disabilities, inclusive leadership, employing people with intellectual disabilities, and more.
Notice of opportunity to apply to participate as a project site: The purpose of the Appalachia Microenterprise Project is to develop employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities residing in Appalachian counties of Ohio. Applications are currently being accepted to participate in this project, funded by the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council, and operated by Griffin-Hammis Associates. The application makes local Appalachian communities eligible for selection as a Project Site, which provides your organization and local community with training, technical assistance, and mentoring tailored to your community, job seekers, and needs.
