Welcome to the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council

The Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council (ODDC) is a planning and advocacy body committed to community inclusion for people with developmental disabilities. ODDC is funded under the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, Public Law 106-402. ODDC is a partner within the Ohio DD Network.

What's New

New publication! Want tips on how to work with your Personal Care Assistant (PCA)? DD Council offers a booklet that answers questions about working with your PCA when he/she goes with you to meetings, conferences and special events. Hard copies also available upon request. Read Guidelines for Working with Your Personal Care Assistant at Meetings, Conferences & Special Events


ODDC wants to hear from you! We are developing our next Five Year State Plan. Please take a few minutes to complete a short survey to help us create a plan that reflects what Council should focus on to fund projects that will better meet the needs of Ohioans with disabilities. Take the survey online - and please share with others!
